Mike Wallick Founder
After years of suffering from Alcohol addiction and realizing that his actions have had a negative impact on his life and the life of his children, Mike decided to seek treatment at the VA Medical Center. It was there that he learned one of the most vital tools in a individuals arsenal in recovery was Listening and Empathy. It was those interactions with counselors and other group members that encouraged him to begin pursuing his Certification in Addiction Counseling. This path brought him to a point in 2014, after being introduced to recovery houses by a recovering addict, that he realized that the treatment of those in recovery and deteriorated homes in which residents had to reside were not in their best interest. Therefore in March 2014 he realized that with his abilities, education, resources and drive he could make a difference. Thus, Phoenix Transitional Living was formed with the idea that the resident comes first.

Sarah Wallick President
Sarah's passion and dedication for helping others was developed early in childhood. Sarah grew up in a devout Christian family that had a passion for helping others and serving their community. Sarah saw that same passion and drive in her husband when he approached her with a plan to start a housing program for individuals in recovery. Sarah didn't hesitate to put all her resources behind his dream.
"Without Sarah, PTL wouldn't be a reality. All the support, long hours and continuous encouragement have become the foundation that PTL is built on" Mike Wallick, Founder
